Who cares if it's the best looking game ever or not? It's still gonna rock, just hope it can hold me for longer than the 2 days it took me to finish Uncharted 2, the online component would really wanna step up to the plate to make this a purchase rather than the rental part 2 was.

Here's my 2 cents so:
Fable 3 - Haven't played it but I bought part 2 and was really underwhelmed by it, not a cr@p game but nowhere near as good as it was hyped up to be, and my God was it hyped up!
Alan Wake - Haven't actually played it, been meaning to for a while but I doubt it's a game any PS3 owner would "die" to have on their console.

Spoken like a person who definitely has never played Gears 1, if you did you would know that part 1 is superior to part 2.
I have both Geometry Wars 2 and Super Stardust HD and 4-player Geometry Wars blows SSHD outta the water.

Having both consoles, the only game on that list I would "die" for is Demons Souls and it's sequel is coming to the 360 anyway. In fact it's the main reason I bought a PS3 last year. I bought Heavy Rain, played about 2 to 3 hours of it, was bored to tears and traded it in.
I borrowed Uncharted 2 off my bro, finished it's stunning single player campaign in less than 2 days, played the online co-op and team games for about half an hour, saw there was no real reaso...

You hit the nail on the head, the main reason I would think to avoid Gears 3 is because of a horrible song :/
Never mind the 4-player co-op campaign, a vast improvement to the already excellent Horde mode, the exciting looking Beast mode and, having played the Beta, a fantastic return to form for competitive deathmatch, CTMF etc...
Gears 3 doesn't need the hype (though I'm sure there'll be an avalanche of it come September), everyone who played the first 2 know it's coming out and have probably already pre-ordered it. Roll on the 20th of September!
Crap, was hoping it wouldn't be very good so I wouldn't have to buy it, seriously low on cash these days!

It's not so much that I disagree with you Kran, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but saying " Its just like: Here's a sword. Go out into the world" basically translates to "Here's a sword. Have to disagree with everyone who wants specific characters back though,if they're gonna do a reboot I hope they use all new characters and villains, and bring back the zombie! And if Capcom absolutely need to have an enemy that fires machine guns/rocket launchers just make them human and not some zombie/gonado with military training this time. Actually scrap that, if there's gonna be an enemy that can shoot you then it ain't gonna be...
